This is a thread for damned souls condemned to SI inferno, to confess their sins and regain a measure of self respect. I welcome all who have been banned to complain about the unjust ways in which they have been treated. Those who are just joining SI need to study closely the histories of martyrs to free speech, so that they can learn to cower under the inquisition of SI Bob.
Punishment consists initially of bans from posting. There is no appeal. No explanation. You are simply banned -- usually without the courtesy of a post. Your messages are refused. The only possibility is to create a new subject (talk about stupidity!).
In my own case, I was condemned for personal abuse. I believe, but cannot be sure, that in the first case it was because I called a young man a "stupid racist pig," despite the fact that he had accused me of abusing students and of being crazy. So apparently, those attacks are OK. (If not, I welcome SI Bob's explanations). In the second case, I suspect I was banned because of religious controversy on the Jesus thread. I was subjected to multiple attacks by an hysterical (IMO) woman, a number of attacks that exceeded the TOU, and also had Christ called to damn me to hell. Apparently such attacks are permitted. I guess SI Bob is actually a fundamentalist. (If I am mistaken, SI Bob please explain.)
So welcome, let us hear of your suffering. We need to establish free discussion on this system. Too many have been martyred wrongfully.
