RADVision has a radical vision of the future, where packet-based networks (such as the Internet) are used for all types of communications, including voice and video. Its products include gateways that interface between packet and traditional circuit-based networks, gatekeepers that manage communications on packet networks, bridges that enable voice or multimedia conferencing, and software kits that allow users to build network products. RADVision sells to manufacturers, systems integrators, and resellers, including Alcatel, Cisco, and Siemens. Following the offering, Siemens and Samsung will be minority shareholders. Founded in 1992, RADVision is part of Israel's RAD Group of affiliated networking and telecom firms.
