I felt it appropriate to list Microsoft (Nasdaq: MSFT) under computers, as they've effected almost every computer in the free and not so free world.

I wanted to start by indicating that I like Microsoft, and I enjoy what they've done.

Secondly, I think this conversation should be focused not only about Microsoft, but about the companies and people they effect.

Lastly, I'd like to discuss the advantages and disadvantages of using Windows, and any other software that is produced by Microsoft.
