I thought the pop-under ads were a new low.

They were, actually, but not now. Now Silicon Investor has automatic movie ads with sound!

This means that if you are listening to anything on your computer, you get a nice ad for a brand new war movie instead. Or even if you are not listening to anything, but were, and left the volume up.

Oh, happy happy joy joy! People listening to ads while they pay money to type messages back and forth with friends in a friendly quiet environment.

Must be a Zen thing or something.
