Nov. 2nd, 2004 was a significant day in the history of the US and of the world. The American people voted to give Mr. Bush a second term. He is now considered a lameduck President. Being a lameduck, some fear that the neocons and the religious right will have a field day in steering this country towards their divisive and conservative agenda. While others remain hopeful that Bush will strive to bring this country and even the nations of the world together and that the US will move from being an isolated nation to a nation which is respected and revered and not feared. This thread is that coffee room to discuss issues on such topics. Yes indeed, this is a moderated thread and name calling, ridicule etc. will not be tolerated. | ||||||||||||
