Sun Hydraulics Corporation designs and manufactures screw-in hydraulic cartridge valves and manifolds, which control force, speed, and motion as integral components in fluid power systems worldwide. Its products include screw-in cartridge valves; electro-hydraulic cartridges; manifolds, a solid block of metal that is machined to create threaded cavities and channels; and integrated packages, an assembly of cartridge valves into a custom designed manifold. These products are used in construction, agricultural, and utility equipment, as well as in a range of industrial applications, such as machine tools and material handling equipment. Sun Hydraulics sells its products through subsidiaries and a network of independent fluid power distributors worldwide. The company was founded in 1970 and is based in Sarasota, Florida.
