Death Penalty opponents have invented a number of myths that Big Media helps them perpetrate.
Myth # 1: The Death Penalty is not a deterrent. Myth # 2: Life in prison is a worse punishment than death. Myth # 3: Innocent people are known to have been executed. Myth # 4: Being on Death Row means you'll be executed. Myth # 5: The monetary cost of execution is several times that of life without parole.
Do you agree with this statement? "In the last 30 years, there has not been a single case where an executed person was later proved innocent."
All opinions are welcome here. If you have a point to make, or even want to "educate" me, feel free to post away.
