Warrants are a derivative product that trade in a similar fashion to stocks. They are not puts or calls and generally trade in Canada with the simple extention of ".wt" or ".wt.a". Info is sketchy on them. They offer a higher return and as a result are a much riskier product as anytime the exercise price is above the current trading price they are worth very little. Lets post them when we know about them . I want this to be about warrants trading on a Canadian exchange.
Post 478 copied here - excellent links Warrant list
National Post (I know of at least one mistake in here on BTC so best to check and ask your broker, and ask them where they are getting the info.) canada.com
For the Vancouver warrants (click on symbol and goto Company Summary, and then in the drop down box pick Financings): cdnx.com.
Too bad the TSE exchange wasn't as forthcoming, the TSX site used to be evn better.
Another list, mostly mining, will need to change the date in the future so its best to access it from the website. Goto the site's discussion forum and in Cansalvo's Corner you will find it.
