This challenge is open to all Silicon Investor Members
Prize: Bragging rights for a week. You will be dubbed the Canadian Stock Picker "Guru" until the next
"Guru" steps up and claims the title the following week.
Here's what you need to do:
1) Pick 1 stock that trades on the TSE or VSE that trades for $3.00 or less.
2) List the stock of your choice and it's Friday closing price.
3) Each entrant will be deemed to have bought $10,000 worth of that stock. (rounded-off to the nearest share amount)
4) All picks "must" be submitted by Monday mornings 8:30 am at the latest.
5) Posting the reason for your particular pick would be appreciated but not a necessity.
6) At the close on Friday the stock picker with the highest $ value for his/her pick will be dubbed the "Guru" for that week.
Let's have some fun with this and hopefully we all benefit with some great picks and ideas from the entrants.
