Dear Monica:
Some of your friends have been melancholy because of your absence during the holiday season. One thing that is cheering,though, is the additional solicitation for the Memorial Fund went very well, and, because of the generosity of you friends, we are near completion of the project. We have now amassed over $5000, and I am only waiting for an overview of options from Blue Heron before entering the final negotiations. I will update later.
If anyone is feeling the urge to make a last minute contribution:
Individual checks can be sent to the Director of the Blue Heron, Ardelle Striker. Checks may be made out to Blue Heron Theatre,Inc. or Blue Heron Arts Center. Be sure name and address of donor included since these are tax deductible charitable contributions, and we will acknowledge each individually. People should be sure that they make it clear they are contributing to the Monica Timmons Memorial Fund. I have also consented, by PM, to take a few checks to "bundle" myself, for those who want extra insurance they are counted properly.
