I have always been interested in predicting major market direction changes and how to benefit from them with option plays. The theme here is about predicting major changes...
- what indicators may serve us to anticipate a major market trend change, and;
- how can we tell the extent of the move coming and when it will occur?
This subject may be timely as many advisors are saying "... times are changed, crashes just can't happened any more."
What support can you give to ideas pro and con and what do you suggest an investor do to protect him or herself from the unexpected.

"BIG KAHUNA IN THE MAKING" Are we the first to sound the alert?
The US Dollar has taken out all technical supports since yesterday, Friday, September 28th, 2007. What implications does this have to the US and World economies and markets?
- I expect the price of oil to double in the next 2 years!
- I expect inflation to ratchet up to double digits by the end of the decade!
- I expect the equivalent to a run on the banks by foreigners is likely to get out of dollar denominated assets. What impact will this have for our stock markets? Stay tuned!
