In honor of the many "moderated" (read heavily censored) threads initiated by numerous 1st amendment type liberals I've decided to offer the conservative antidote. This is a place for the more conservative members of SI to hang out to plot the further misdeeds of the VRWC. No pretense will be made that exclusion of any SI poster will be made based upon any objective criteria. All banishments will be made at the sole discretion and fanciful whims of the Moderator. So, if you are not slightly to the right of Attilla the Hun, you won't fit in here.
Edit: 7/19/01- A bit of history is in order. This thread was started in response to bannings en masse of conservatives from the Left Wing Porch thread. I myself was banned from that thread for asking a simple question. I found this very ironic from folks who claim to be against censorship and for free speech. I started RWET as a spoof and a bit of a rebuke to those folks never expecting the thread to prosper as it has. It was only supposed to be a joke. To differentiate ourselves from the demolib lefties on the LWP thread, I selected one "token" liberal to post demolib type malarky on the thread which our trusty posters quickly and surely dismembered and debunked on every occasion. Recently, our token resigned and I have decided to leave the thread closed to a new demolib type poster at the request of most RWET'er usual posters. |
