The Befriend the Trend Trading thread and all its participants wish to extend their deepest sympathies and heartfelt prayers to all those affected by the recent terrorist strikes against America.
We are an ecclectic group of traders, some working professionals who trade part-time, some ex-pros who trade full-time, who are continuously trying to improve our qualities of life through successful stock market exploitation (!).
Since April 1, 2000 the BTTT thread has been experimenting with a system called BTTT-MAX which uses, among other things, short-term Moving Average Crossovers (MAX's) on intraday charts to generate buy and sell signals. We stay fully invested in each stock all the time, taking long or short positions alternately.
