In an effort to keep politics off of the Piffer OT thread, this thread is being created to allow off-main thread discussions of the contested 2000 Presidential election.
The thread is moderated only so that those lacking civility can be shown the door. I do not intend to kick anyone off of this ballot.
A few suggested guidelines:
1. Please let us know which candidate you voted for/prefer so that any biases can be readily identified. If that is private feel free to omit how you voted.
2. Humor is appreciated.
3. Please do not let any rancorous disputes spill over onto the Piffer thread. Draw your swords, have it out, and then let it go. If your man doesn't win, will the world really end???
4. If you are from Palm Beach County, please be advised that the "Previous" link is to the post BEFORE the one you are viewing, and the "Next" link is to the post AFTER the one you are viewing. We have asked SI Management to avoid the use of arrows to the extent possible so that you will not be confused.
5. No cruelty to dogs is permitted. Cruelty to cats will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
