Return to Understanding Islam

It is the intention of this thread to place Islam in focus without any political correctness of the time, and to truly, genuinely and honestly undestand it.

Positive spin on Islam
Islamic Affairs Department of The Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia iad.org
A positive spin on Islam's treatment of Women islam101.com

Negative spin on Islam:
Women: An inferior breed: members.aol.com
A review of Islam: Mohammed and Mohammedanism newadvent.org
==========================================

And just for the record.... the evil nature of Islam started with the so called revolution of 1979 in Iran and has taken us to where we are today with world wide terrorism at its peak:
badraie.com;

And ironically the man who (in my view) is the root and cause of the mess we are in today (namely Jimmy Carter) just received the Nobel peace prize! :)

So the question is:
Is it Islam that is evil, or those who just like to call themselves Muslims, and are giving the ideology a bad name, evil?
