I have been following Bob Brinker's market-timing history going back over 20 years. I have an extensive record of all of his market-calls, both official and "off-the-books," back to year-2000.
Each weekend, I write a summary and commentary about Bob Brinker's Moneytalk radio program. I often include quotes from the program in order to be entirely accurate when I report what Brinker said. I will occasionally archive sections of my summaries and other writings here.
Bob Brinker talks extensively about politics on Moneytalk now, so political discussion is welcome here as it relates to finance and investing.
Brinker prefers the total stock market index fund over the S&P 500 index. The ETF for that is VTI.
PLEASE NOTE: Bob Brinker's market-timing record goes back to the mid-1980's. Bob Brinker ranks the performance of his current model portfolios from 1988. Hulbert's Financial Digest ranks Marketimer model portfolio performance from 1986. Therefore, all of Brinker's calls from that time are pertinent for educational purposes and discussion.
