Summit Energy is currently only going to process post-industrial plastics 2,4,5 and some Styrofoam. The system is continuous feed and the plastic will be melted electrically at 400C and then later refined into gasoline, home heating oil and diesel. The gasoline is roughly 91 octane, the diesel is low sulphur. The pyrite gas is processed through a platinum bed catalytic filter which leaves only steam and a miniscule amount of methane. The char/ash is benign. Production will be some 8000L of fuel per day at about 50% margin. The intent is to be the first commercial & successful plastic to fuel plant in Eastern Canada. Already secured is enough plastic for the first 16 months of operation and verbal offtake agreements are arranged with some fuel firms. Smiths Falls is the desired location presently being discussed with the Smiths Falls council.
Funding ($5.5M - $6.0M) is presently being secured through angels and VCs. Going public is a possible step for the future.
Website planned and there will be links to an extensive research library and download links for investment profile and business plan.
