IMO the strength of schedule differences that have been tallyhooed about all year boils down to, is the Big East , a relatively new conference, that much weaker than the SE Conference or the ACC.
Yes. The Big East has it's Temple and Rutgers, other conferences have their losers too. So if the Big East is that weak Va Tech probably doesn't belong in the Big Easy and the Sugar Bowl, but if Syracuse, Boston College, West Virginia, Miami, and Va Tech are as good as an average ACC team or an average SEC team then Va Tech does belong in the Sugar Bowl. |
