This is a thread created to provide a place for cigar smokers to talk. Topics can include anything related to the enjoyment of cigar smoking. For instance, we can talk about the history of cigars, the manufacture and distribution of cigars, the retail of cigars which includes the important task of locating vendors with current specials and closeouts, the care of cigars at home, and of course the smoking of cigars. We can organize boxpasses and box splits and trades.
Also I see this as a virtual "cigar bar" for those who just want to sit, relax, and talk about the days events. I find that there is no conversation like what can be found between cigar smokers...other than the intelligent conversation between the serious traders and investors I have found here at Silicon Investor.
I am no "cigar aficionado" type who has a walk in humidor built as an extension to my house, or a storehouse of pre-embargo cuban cigars willed to my descendants. So lets leave the debate about the virtues of the Cuban Piloto leaf in a comparison of the different "vintage" year Dominican crops behind in our conversations. There is so much more interesting topics to discuss. :-)
When you feel comfortable, perhaps you can post an introductory note about your involvement with cigars and list some of the cigars you enjoy smoking. Feel happy and be proud to announce that you are a cigar smoker!
