You will be dead soon- much sooner than you think- when you look back it all seems to have passed in the blink of an eye. At the end of your life, when you look back, will you like the detritus you have left in the wake of your life? Will you be proud to have your children read the words you have written? May I suggest that if you find it necessary to go after people for their ideas, instead of going after the ideas themselves, you probably need to step back and think about why you feel such aggressive urges. We all have stresses and strains in our lives- loved ones who disappoint us, frustrated dreams and desires, money worries, guilt over past actions or inactions- don't compound your problems by making the world a more ugly place because of your inner turmoil. It won't help you and it just degrades the world. Finally, if you absolutely must make the world a more ugly and confrontational place, at least don't do it here.
Please do not call people names on this thread- that includes labeling any group "trash" or any other bigoted name. It doesn't matter if you lean left, or right, or are in the middle- name calling is separate from ideas, and the sooner we realize it, the sooner we can have real discussions and not silly trash fests.
