In the last week of working on the SI site, it has become apparent that to effectively implement new features and improve existing ones, I will need to rewrite the software on a new platform from scratch.
The legacy codebase is nearly a decade old and does not take advantage of much of the 2.0 functionality of the modern web, or even modern development software. I am having to edit .aspx files with a text editor!
As soon as I stabilize the site and complete the must-have changes, I will start working on the new system.
I am creating this subject to serve a repository for all new requested features (and possibly debate their merits).
