  Leonardo of Pisano Pisa [1170 - 1250] or Fibonacci played an important role in reviving ancient mathematics and made significant contributions of his own. Leonardo Pisano is better known by his nickname 'Fibonacci'. Fibonacci himself sometimes used the name Bigollo, which may mean good-for-nothing or a traveller. Fibonacci was born in Italy but was educated in North Africa where his father, Guilielmo, held a diplomatic post. The Fibonacci Sequences is the following array of numbers. 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34, 55, 89, 144, 233, 377, 610, 987, etc...The most significant Fibonacci related numbers are 61.8% and 38.2%. Both of these numbers are related to Phi, the golden number.
