Think advertising is dead ? Did you hear, Facebook is doing an IPO ? And, they just announced they're pulling in ONE BILLION DOLLARS a year just from ADVERTISING ? Apparently, they're doing something right that others just aren't getting quite so right as they are ?

There clearly are new opportunities that will exist, too, as the tech advances. And, just as clearly, a lot of the future opportunities that have been envisioned, for years already, once we all have fully web-enabled smartphones with 3-D projection video, have thus far largely failed to materialize in workable form... or in a form consumers accept as a tool that is a benefit, a seamless addition, rather than an vile intrusion. But, that doesn't mean you shouldn't be trying right now, looking to catch (or create) the "next Facebook" ?
So, that's the topic... converging our way to "the next big thing" since blogvertising... didn't quite get us there... ???
