Greetings, and welcome to the BEFRIEND THE TREND Short-term Options Trading Thread!
INTRODUCTION: This thread is a spin-off from the BTTT main thread, where I post my daily stock trades. The main thread can be found here: Subject 21685 In this new thread, I want to experiment with some very short-term stock, options and even futures plays.
CONTEST: As of 4/15/02, we have begun a contest to determine who can first take a $10k account to $100k using any of the above markets. Rules that apply to accounts under $25k must be adhered to until the account balance rises above that level. All trades must be posted as close to real-time as possible, and it is up to each contestant to keep a running total, posted to the thread.
STRATEGY: I will be using a standard BTTT-Classic methodology applied to daily and intraday charts; and also will experiment with a new version of the BTTT-MAX method applied to intraday charts.
