Welcome! I've created this board to discuss trading & investment ideas, and to bring together a community of like-minded individuals where we can be free to discuss just about anything, while mainly keeping an eye out for trading and investment opportunities.
For those who don't know me, I am better known at RagingBull.com as "Zen_Warrior". I'll be in a BusinessWeek article shortly, and was listed in Individual Investor magazine as a notable poster. I trade options and stocks, but am looking for solid investments as well. In fact, solid investments that have a potential 400% gain over the coming year are my primary focus. My personal goal is for a gain of 400% per year. I know... sounds crazy, but most certainly doable... at one point I was up 50,000% over a 2 year time span, only to get crushed last year as I mis-timed the impending bear market by about 3 weeks. But now, in a more fundamental, un-hyped market, one must be flexible and adapt accordingly. For me, that means companies that are typically making money, growing fast as all hell, and cheaper than dirt. At this moment, that means stocks like LTXX, KLAC, LRCX, AAPL, KYO, just about any Semi stock, ATML, SSTI, DITC, TXCC, CYMI, TSTN, LGHLY, VSEA, HCDC, SEI, SI, ELNT, etc. For the short side, I wouldn't mind buying Puts in KO, TRLY, and even AOL (*gasp!*). But then I never have understood KO's massive 55 P/E for such a saturated company w/ little growth... sort of a glamour stock backed by good 'ole Warren Buffett's name.
