Return to Canadian Small Cap Stocks

I'm looking for 11 (lucky number) Canadian small growth companies for my portfolio. As I buy, hold, or sell stocks in my small-cap portfolio, I'll explain why. You'll see how a professional analyst uses fundamental analysis, technical analysis, stock valuation techniques, and years of experience going about assessing and picking stocks. There is only space for 11 stocks to be followed and monitored. When there are more than 11 great candidates, the weakest will be replaced ( won't hurt, they are only companies, not human beings :-).

My modest target is at least a "double bagger" within a maximum 2 year holding time frame. Buy candidates are companies that are financially sound, have good growth prospects, management has a successful track record, and the stock is reasonably valued at time of purchase. Sell candidates are when the fundamentals or technicals are changing, or when the stock is excessively valued.

You are my eyes and ears! Post stocks that you've done your "due diligence" and would like a second opinion on. I'll inform you whether I like it, I'm neutral, or I don't like it, and why. It's a great win-win situation... you'll gain valuable insights, and I'll get stock candidates for my personal portfolio. Of course, all suggestions and discussions here are on the basis of "for what it is worth".

On this thread, both views (bulls and bears) are ALWAYS be welcomed. If you have concerns or opposing views to the stocks in the portfolio or the stocks discussed here, it is OK to post them. There will be no flaming or belittling of others because of their opposite view points. A balanced diet of pros and cons will only make us more informed and successful investors!

Profitable investing and have fun!
