I'm tired of being a thread-surfer...so...I think I'll just stake my claim to this little peice of real estate on SI. I feel I have made a lot of friends on SI this past year, and while I don't always hit homeruns, I make some good trades and calls now and then. And I get a lot of good ideas and trades from my friends as well.
Problem is...they seem to be spreading out and running around from thread to thread...like I have been for the past year or so. I guess that's cool, because there are some brilliant people hosting their own threads on SI and some darn fine traders that hang out on those threads. But I am getting kind of tired of all the running around. So I am going to post my ideas and opinions here for a while in case anyone is interested. Probably just talk to myself, but....who knows?
I do it all...I invest, I position trade, I scalp, and I short. I often like to position trade myself into free stock in companies I like and want to own long term. Sometimes, I'll just scalp an 1/8th of a point on stuff I know nothing about but I feel I can get away with it. (lunch money)
Anyway, if you want to hang out...feel free. All are welcome. I ask one thing...please do not mention non-reporting OTC.BB stocks here. That's all. (oh, no arguing either...life is too short)
Outside of that, if you have an idea for making money, bring it on. Everyone is responsible for doing their own due diligence and trading their accounts. There will be no handholding here. As always, laying out your suggestion with research links is the best way to get attention.
I like buying into things that could get me a 1000% return in 6 months to a year..preferably after I have a zero cost basis from selling 1/2 at 100%. Anybody care to help me find them ?

I would prefer a chat format (No offense SI) but it seems traders have a hard time leaving those windows open on their computers for various reasons. Maybe later. Besides, with this format, you all can look back and check the performance of some of the picks made here.

Perhaps we can use our buying power to build a portfolio of hundreds...if not thousands of stocks that we will own at a zero cost basis. Whether it be 10, 50, 100, or 10,000 shares in each company. As long as those stocks are still trading and they are at a zero cost basis, they are all pure profit and the taxes are minimal. |
