Return to Moomin Valley (formerly Troll-free Zone)

I named this thread troll-free zone as a counter-point to the clown-free zone. Trolls are miserable creatures that hang out in dark, damp, cold corners of SI and pounce on unsuspecting investors with their tales of currency debasing, stock pumping, index crashing, Austrian economics and other wicked conspiracies.Trolls gather treasure and hide it. Extreme irrational exuberance or irrational pessimism don't make sense. This thread is for those who want to ride the waves of the markets up or down.

Here is information on Moomintrolls. These are nice and are not banned from this thread:

moomin.fi
illuminati.com

I will post updates on my scenarios for the markets and maybe my investment performance (if it looks good LOL).

Here is a link to a description of my approach to technical analysis:

My general approach is that of Soros and the Quantum Fund in its classic days as described in "The Alchemy of Finance" and "Soros: The Unuathorized Biography". Of course it is adapted for small investors and a limited number of trades for one person doing it part time. I emphasize TA a bit more, though there are plenty of charts in "The Alchemy of Finance".
