I've always been a fan of corporate logos. My favorite one is FedEx's with the arrow between the "E" and the "x."

Two old ones I liked were the Milwaukee Brewers with the "m" and the "b" forming a baseball glove:
and the Hartford Whalers which had the "H" inside of the "W" and the top of the "H" flaring out to form a whale's fin:
Added another one of my favorites to the header, Sun Micro, all the U's form the word SUN all the way around:
Big Ten Conference added an 11th team, wanted to keep their original logo:
