Headquartered in Espoo Finland, Nokia is one of Europe's largest multinational companies by market capitalization. Nokia focuses on high-speed data connections through advanced second generation and third generation wireless systems and is the worlds largest and most profitable manufacturer of communications equipment. Nokia's greatest strength is in the booming mobile handset market, where it is the world's #1 seller by a factor of >1.5x their next nearest competitor (Motorola) but Nokia is also the 2nd largest manufacturer of mobile wireless infrastructure globally, and it is aiming for the top of the evolving Mobile Internet market. Nokia is a broadly held company with listings on three major exchanges. In the US shares are traded on the NYSE as ADRs. The Helsinki Exchange trading symbol for Nokia is NOK1V.
