I would like to hear your opinions regarding Elan. This is an Irish
Pharmacuetical Co. that specializes in drug delivery. Fortune Mag. just did
a piece on the company in this month edition (kiss of death). The article
is very complamentary. The article can be found online in the Fortune site.
It rates Elan and ALza as the best in the rapidly expanding drug delivery
group.
The company just bought the biotech company of Athena Pharm. who
specialized in nuerodrugs. This should slightly dilute earnings for 1996
and should be slightly additive in 1997. According to the company
Athena products should be very additive in 1998.The price of the stock in about 26.625. It high for the year was around 33. |
