What a change for the 2001 season ! Mr Vick and notable seniors like Cory Bird are gone. Cory Moore is a distant memory. Grant Noel will head up the QB spot; will Frank Beamer rigidly stick to his preseason choice in QB's with rocket arms like Jason Davis sitting on the sideline as a red shirt freshman.
Does Va Tech deserve a national preseason 5th or 6th spot.
Can an Adibi//Beasley solid defensive line backed up by the likes of Austin, Pile,Green,Whiticar, and Hardee or ,Ben Taylor stop Miami, WVU and Syracuse.
Will Noel have to pass even a few times to that guy,the receiver that runs like the wind, oh yes , Anthony Davis (was that his name ) with a stable of returning backs like, Ferguson, Burnell, Eastlick and that other guy that is pretty good from Christiansburg Va, Oh Yea ! Lea Suggs; only ranked pre season the 4th best back in the nation.
