The purpose of this thread is to look at Biotechs & Pharma Companies from a T.A. stand point.
As we look to what appears to be significant moves (Up or down)on the price of the stocks, will try to find any recent news that may have triggered the change.
Emphasis to be made on stocks that are on new UP-TRENDS or DOWN-TRENDS.(To determine that will look at 4 variables: Price(P); Short Term Average(S); Medium Term Average (M) and Long Term Average (L)
By definition, a stock is on an UP-TREND when the 4 variales stand on the following descending order: P;S;M and L ( And vice-versa for DOWN-TREND)
At the same time will try to look at other parameters like: Insiders & Institutional Holdings (Looking for companies with more than 50% of the float, especially from the insiders)and recent changes; Book Value; Price Sales;PE(If any); PEG; Short Position; as well as any especial product, situations or niche.
Feel free to post and any opinions and findings that appear to be interesting concerning any of the aforementioned will be much appreciated.
