This thread was started by jlallen in response to bannings en masse of conservatives from the Left Wing Porch thread. He was banned from that thread for asking a simple question, so was I. This is clearly ironic from folks who claim to be against censorship and for free speech. The RWET was started as a spoof, it was only supposed to be a joke.
Contrary to supressing free speech, I would like to begin intelligent and substantive discussions from both sides of the aisle, but please do not disrupt the discussions with bantering slogans, hate speech, or whatever, that will only result in your being escorted off this thread and out into the street. Therefore, I have removed the ban from those left wing posters who are interested in an intelligent and civil discussion of the issues. If they have a strong belief in their positions, then they can certainly sit down at the same table with the right wing. Of course, any disruption with bantering slogans or hate speech from anyone, left or right, will result in being excused from the thread. So please let's show these left wing guests that we can set the example for fairness and courtesy while they visit.
