It's a hope to collect some informative & beautiful links for Artists and Inventors to file with the rest of their tools. Pictures, books, adventures, stories, wisdom, business sense, laughs, good stuff.

In the world of Things, Fine Art & Inventions are major investments. Few people in this world have the brilliant drive of The Great Masters or the money to buy their Works. All who draw, paint, and sculpt enjoy being in the realm of art in whatever capacity. Whoever's bought original art for their home knows the territory. Same goes for Inventors.
That most Wall Street Stock Tickers started as someone's invention makes it all the more exciting to come up with a good functional idea and develop it.
Artists & Inventors often will meet at wide border where
function and form shakes hands with decorative elegance.
Everyone who likes to do anything - whether professionally or as a hobby - enjoy meeting kindred spirits and exchanging information to facilitate a good result.
Sharing good steers, microscopic DD on the 360, and some good old-fashioned out-of-the-box thinking could perhaps lead to some success with Wall Street Tickers around here.
Art projects & Inventions in development have expense & risk
Creative Civility is what's hoped for Around The Studio so a good time can be had by all.
i doubt the 86 button needs to be mentioned.
Here it's the same as for a critique/seminar should artwork & inventions be shared by a maker - no jeers, no awards.
No probing questions about scope or outcome; busting chops wouldn't be in style either. We all understand what it is to explore & Keep It Under The Hat.
A respect for intellectual property as vested in Copyrights, Trademarks, and Patents laws & rules is a watchword here. Links should be placed with an attribution to the source if they're coming through from elsewhere, or if from a page inside the link that wasn't properly marked.
Inventors should Consider The Source(s) and All Possible Applications, .... then Give A Nod to the existant (devices, etc.) from which the invention/idea is possible today. At this point in time, most new inventions are considered adjuncts (new applications, accessories, etc.) to an existant. Inventions without forerunner are often those of inherently functional 3-D Design and made from commonly available manufacturing components. It'd usually need to be of fairly wide 360 applicability or utterly limited to a whole new scope, to be An Original.
The Perfect Original Invention solves a problem or a need created by Itself (or by being it's own Original forerunner).
For Artists, works "in the style of the time" are often similar so as to capture the mood and dreams of an era and That's Good... The Greats aren't always the Artists inventing a style, but are those who manage to so prolifically perfect and improve the style du monde as to become Iconic on the Art marketplace. To Shoot For The Moon is fun for Artists, as the more objets they make the better the work looks, with still many productive years left in life to keep getting better.
As for me, being an Artist/Inventor is All About this:
To Hit The Moon would be GREAT, but it doesn't really matter.
Its about "At Least I Can Do Something Right"- same as we all!
As i let out that large breath of air at the moment a painting or drawing is a finished success, and as i laughingly sign it with flourish & exhausted hand with writing of an 8 year old child, the sense that something ethereal from the very core of my being has been released, expressed, polished, communicated, and is mirrored right back to me As Something Good I Did - is pleasure so intense i want & dread to start another too soon.
A good part of it is the same as the exhale and whoop when Pushing The Sell Button At The Tippy-Top of a Very $uccessful stock trade which comes as no surprise when exhaustive DD unearths It & one's shocking risky bravery captures it -
It's That Feeling of aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhh.....haaah.
