Return to PALM - The rebirth of Palm Inc.

Here we can discuss the Pros and Cons of the second birth of Palm Computing as an independent company. Palm will become independent of 3Com in January 2000.

Hopefully, we are all witness to a great expansion of the handheld market and the successful adoption of the Palm operating system on the large majority of handheld devices.

With Partners like Handspring we may also witness a Wintel-like "PalmSpring" domination of handheld computing.

The service and portal busines also should set PALM apart as the key provider of information for handhelds, cellphones and future converged divices.

Good luck,
Lets move up!
