The portfolios I report on here are real portfolios using real money. They are not model portfolios. I provide three examples of portfolios I manage for people in different aspects of their investing lives.
1) Young Folk Portfolio. 2) Middle Age Portfolio. 3) Old Folk Portfolio.
==================
YOUNG FOLK PORTFOLIO:
Summary
I started the Young Folk Portfolio, formally known as Project $3 Million, in 2009 over on Seeking Alpha and the focus would be on dividends. (He was 24 at the time.) The objective when I started, and continues to be, 10% dividend growth per year in dividend cash flows. The secondary objective was to grow this into a $3 million portfolio.
In 2009 here is what the portfolio looked like:
$42,205.00 - $500 per month contributions. - 40 year time frame.
Objective: $3 Million - Need a CAGR of 8.25%
Objective: $120,000 per year in dividends. - Need a CAGR of 13.8%.

OLDER FOLK PORTFOLIO:
Summary:
This portfolio focuses on income, age mid-sixties, needed income from dividends $100,000 annually.
This objective was achieved ahead of schedule and thus the dividend income was raised to $200,000 and was achieved in 2020.
The objective for 2021 was to increase the dividend cash flows to $250,000 annually.
This portfolio will be tracked differently than the Young Folk Portfolio listed above. Since income is the primary objective I will show position size, income produced from each position, and what percentage of the income comes from each position. ============================
