I would prefer we do not discuss US domestic politics here - there are enuff places on SI to do that...
Other topics to avoid on this thread are : religion and abortion. These are topics where no consensus can be reached.

Personally, I like to discuss Foreign Affairs not just from a US perspective, but also other perspectives, as my country of birth and upbringing is India, and I am a New Zealand + US citizen. Other countries I have lived in are Australia, Oman, UK. Its an interesting mix.
I hope we can discuss foreign affairs here, from a Global perspective....
