this is to follow up on the thread started by Ken (Faultline), but now with an active moderator. New Sheriff in Town. Behave or get tossed out.

1. Discussions relating to any article in Foreign Affairs magazine.
2. Discussions relating to current events, especially items concerning:
- US relations with Russia, China, India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, EU, Middle Eastern Countries
- Military policy, capabilities, and tactics

III. Items Considered Off-Topic

I would prefer we do not discuss US domestic politics here - there are enuff places on SI to do that...

Other topics to avoid on this thread are : religion and abortion. These are topics where no consensus can be reached.

Foreign Affairs Magazine
If you are interested in international issues, I recommend you consider a subscription to "FA".

Kumar in addition to Faultline :

Personally, I like to discuss Foreign Affairs not just from a US perspective, but also other perspectives, as my country of birth and upbringing is India, and I am a New Zealand + US citizen. Other countries I have lived in are Australia, Oman, UK. Its an interesting mix.

I hope we can discuss foreign affairs here, from a Global perspective....
