This is the third week of the month, when the MM's must report their short positions. You can expect them to do everything they can to knock the price down to shake shares to cover their shorts before the report is due.

We analyzed the trading logs from today. Over 85% of the volume was on buys. Nonetheless, the MM's were naked shorting all day, trying to knock it down after every buy.

Notice how they lowered the bid and asked after the last trade to try to make the close look weird -- i.e., above the asked.

For the last three weeks, buying has exceeded selling by a considerable margin. Yet, as we all know, the price has moved down.

The MM's can only win this game if we sell. This is the critical week. If we hold, they will be forced to cover. When that happens (no-one can say exactly what day it will occur -- it's when they decide to throw in the towel, not necessarily when the report is due), the short-covering itself will take ALYA's price to the next level.
