They are thinking what they always think: just keep on shifting the wealth to themselves using legislation, Fed insider privileges, lax governance, payback from bribed elected officials, fraud, naked shorting, rehypothecated gold, or whatever, all the while knowing that there really is no longer any chance they will be prosecuted for anything. And if they *might* be in some distant future scenario, just rely on any of the five or six other countries where they have mansions to insulate them from humanity.

I do think there will be a dramatic up move in just about everything as a world wide inflation wave rolls in and crests. Maybe five to ten years before some unintended consequence emerges which they cannot paper over.
