Tracy, In my last post I forgot to mention a bargain I found recently. Surplus Direct (800-753-7877) has a headset made by Reveal that sells for $5. I have bought several. The thing is not high end, I mean it is not anything like the Plantronics headset ($129). It does do fine for voice communications . I have several supposedly GOOD (read, cost me a bunch) microphones and some people have said, when using net phones, that they like the Reveal mic better. The head phones are not Hi Fi but, again they are adequate for voice. Comp USA sells the same unit for around $30. If they will work with your MAC ( I suspect they will, but the phantom power may be an issue) you could hardly lose by getting a a pair, at under $10 with shipping!
