Hi Eric:

<Ounces per ton is troy ounces per short ton. A completely different thing. To get ounces per short ton from grams, multiply by .0291666>

With this statement you unlocked for me one of the mystery of resource calculation. I knew about the troy ounces per short ton difference, I never new the magic number to use in order to translate ounces in grams/per ton.

Now I feel like Pythagoras when he discovered his famous mathematical proposition about right-angled triangles.

Thanks Gran Maestro (no reference to the Masonry and its ranking intended. Rather a reference to the title given to one of my favourite people in history: Leonardo Da Vinci – fitting for a wildcat, don’t you think?)

Keep teaching to those of us who are keen to learn.

Your respectful pupil

Anna

PS: Why is it that I am getting the feeling that you are going to give me a loquacious lesson in history <g>?
