Duh. Rumsfeld is a public figure, a party to the policy and attitude that was the subject of the matter being discussed. I am but a poster with an opinion.

You posts are awfully partisan for someone who's supposed to be not partisan....

I watched enough of his off-hand comments and gestures at his press conferences to note what I considered a flippancy unseemly in someone talking about war. Many found him charming. Actually, I rather like him. I probably would have found him charming, too. had he been secretary of something a bit less serious.
