(Dow Jones)--Fingermatrix Inc. (FINX) completed all tests required for the Federal Bureau of Investigation's certification of its Chek/Ten fingerprint product, and the data has been forwarded to the agency for review. In a press release, Fingermatrix said all fingerprinting systems must be compatible and perform at or above minimum standards established by the FBI. The review process and certification will probably take several weeks, the company said. Fingermatrix's Chek/Ten system, based on its latest patented fingerprinting technology, scans, digitizes and files in a computer all required touches, rolls and slaps of fingerprints.
