I agree with you that the price action has been weak lately. However, the 83,000 volume day (May 12) that you referred to showed two 20,000 share BUYS at prices (1 3/16 and 1 1/4) higher than the same morning's asking price (1 1/8). That was clearly some ACCUMULATION by someone(?) who could see that the average daily volume on NRGE is normally less than that.
