Dear Pluvia,

Is this the quote to which you refer? It's from Newsday. It's a little different from the quote in your posts. Your posts make it seem like VISG said it WOULD have averted the tragedy.

I have to respectfully disagree with you on this quote being fraud or a violation of the SEC act and regulations thereunder. It's an opinion. Again, I'm not saying you don't raise some good points. But I think you lose a little credibility by alleging fraud and SEC violations, very serious charges. I am open to your arguments and would love to see the company respond.

"If it was deployed in the airports last week, it could have made a real difference," Tom Colatosti, president of Viisage Technology, said of the company's face-recognition technology.

"We've come under a lot of controversy for using facial recognition at the Super Bowl," said Colatosti, whose 5-year-old company is based in Littleton, Mass. "But most people have come around to our way of thinking. There is no invasion of privacy."
