OT, Carolyn, Sorry but you're wrong, in every male/female relationship there must be 50/50 give and take and if the male is courteous enough to lift the lid then the female should expect to lower it. Why should the male be expected to lift and lower? Truth is , you just don't want to have to touch it at all, well tough! :O) Other than that I agree with everything said on this thread about bad/discourteous drivers. I hate 'em! Yesterday I heard a car out of control and bounce off the curb next to the side of my house and drive down a slope into a tree filled park. Sixteen and speeding in her dad's minivan, trashed the left side of the vehicle and she's lucky it stopped where it did else there could have been serious injury. A month ago I was stuck in traffic on i35 in Iowa and saw the end result of a 13, yes 13 year old that lost control and crossed the median and caused a head on collision, two deaths and a burned up car. EM techs were puking on the side of the highway. Parents please know where your children are. Sorry for the rant, seemed like the right board for it.
