dennis -

the TDS slide - a 3 day panic with decelerating decline of about 3 points - was caused by the announcement that they would not be acquiring AERL and USM shares, both of which are majority owned subsidiaries. There was a plan to acquire the shares of the subsidiaries and create tracking stocks.

Instead they announced that they would spin off AERL and leave USM as-is for the time being.

There was alot of disappointment that they did not spin off USM, which is the crown jewel / cash cow, a move which would have immediately unlocked alot of value.

Anyway, it still looks great to me. Both TDS and USM have backed off slightly from there 52 week and all time highs, but not enough to cause any concern from my perspective.

rick.
