Something interesting about the IDC and Dataquest posts. It shows Dell with 50+ growth rates but Compaq and HP are not far behind.

Now if you look at the PE's bestowed upon these companies you will begin to see some disparages.

Dell = 46 PE
CPQ = 26 PE
HWP = 25 PE

These PE's are based on price at 1:30pm.

Granted Dell has a slightly higher unit growth rate but a huge difference in PE's. The question is are CPQ and HWP undervalued or is Dell overvalued based on their stock prices. I think we can tell who the bears and the bulls are based on the answers.
